Hello Affiliate Leaders,

What an inspiration it was to meet with all of you on Friday evening of your weekend Leadership Training. I am always energized by Affiliate leadership and what an awesome opportunity you have to recruit others to our cause.

Several of you expressed interest in a possible Quilt Challenge in celebration of the centennial in 2008-09. Roma Jean Bradburn from Fort Wayne, Indiana is very interested in this activity, whatever form it might take. I have sent her an e-mail telling her of your interest. Her e-mail is rbradburn@verizon.net.

It is extremely important that this activity, whatever form it takes, focuses on our history and the 100 years of accomplishments of the association. The quilts would be a method of transmitting our rich and wonderful history. It is also important that should you choose to make this an event to occur at annual meeting that a sponsor is recruited to cover any costs that might be incurred, since at this time, the Centennial Planning Committee is not planning to sponsor this activity.

I am attaching a copy of talk points to use to recruit members to assist.

Good luck to all of you in this coming year.
